trans question

Default trans question

is there any way to get a 700r4 trans from a pick up to work in a 92 rs.
i was told that all i had to do is swap out the tail housing.
could anybody chime in on this please

surely there is somebody out there that'll know if this trans can be made to work . i'd like to know befor the deal gets away

If thats what you had in there before, then you'll be fine. Just be sure that the 4-pin connector receiver on the trans is going to accept your pigtail. Yes, you will have to use a tailshaft housing that is made for the torque arm bolts. Make sure the tailshaft itself is the right number of splines to slide onto the yoke. Make sure the convertor is good and the correct stall for your application
