Alright, my 88 IROC has the synchros on the way out and I was wondering if the six speed from the fourth gen camaro wouldwork in my car..

 

I know it will work because I have seen the conversion in magazines before. But it was not a straight exchange.

 

Well, besides a driveshaft, do you know if there is anything else that would give me trouble? Is the bellhousing the same or interchangable? Any information anyone can give me on anything pertaining to this would be much appreciated. The reason Im asking is because I found a good deal from a friend with a six speed from his 96 and I wouldve liked to put it in there if I could.

 

Nobody has any ideas? I guess Ill just have to try and find out then.. Ill let yall know how it goes..
