my 305tpi AT has a pproblem of wanting to turn off when i come to a stop. if i throw it in neutral at the light, it will stay running but when i come to a stop it will almost kill or even kill sometime. would this be a throttle body problem or some other problem.

A big NO....From what you are saying the condition sounds like the IAC valve needs cleaning or replacing with the idle being reset.

 

Maybe a vac leak. Check all yer vac hoses, front to back.

 

I'm seconding the IAC. And generally, a vacuum leak raises the rpm's.

 

were is the IAC located... and what product should i clean it with... maybe carb cleaner or gasoline and how to reset the idle.

 

Buy a tech manual or go to www.thirdgen.org, they have a very good tech article on this subject. But my opinion by the above questions you are not a DIY type.

 

Kinda OT, but while this most likely true with the car in question, it isn't on quite a few newer cars. I've dealt with cars that ran like total crap, some wouldn't stay running or even start and it turned out to be a vacuum leak.
