On my previous posts i mentioned that my tranny had some delay sometimes when shifting. Also when i start the car in t he mornings and try to put the car in grear: ie Reverse and Drive 2 and 1 manually the tranmision will not engage any any of the gears, sometime once i have let the car warm up for about 10min it will engage with a delay, then sometime i have to put it in gear and rev the motor up to 2000 to 2500 rpm and it will engage. So I took it to a tranny mech and he test drove it and he said that he like the way it shifted nice and crisp( he was stomping on it and it was shifting and kicking down as its supposed to), he the stated that he thought the problem i was having is that the front pump is going out and that he'd have to pull the tranny and it would cost me 1300 to 1500 bucks, becouse since its out he'd go thru it.

Could it be anything else or should i just get a rebuild tranny to replace this one ?
