im seeing these trannys all over the place. rebuilt for 500 or less in a lot of cases!! I know they are fairly strong but what can they handle? Knowing that the 5 speed in these things are pretty much junk i might change to either a better manual or stick either a 350 or 400 in. I know that its a fairly big project. Mod the tranny tunnel and new trans mounts right? So i guess its not that big, but goin from a 5 speed to auto wont be a quick project. Just the beggining of a idea that also probably wont be done, at least anytime soon.
