Default TBI Chips

I've been looking for chips to delete the vats and all I see are chips for TPI. Are there any out there for TBI, or info on how to make your own with what programs you have to have to make it.

The easiest way is get a potentiometer and connect it between the two pulled from the connector white wires of column connector and adjust pot matching the key resistance chip.

Now you have lost VATS. Search VATS resistance substitution

I have already done the resistor for the key chip part. That did work for a while but now it seems as if the main unit has gone bad. I tried replacing the resistors and still doesn't crank. Why I say its the VATS is because it shut off while it was driving, would crank but wasn't getting any fuel out, then it wouldn't crank at all anymore. And the VATS shuts down both of those things. So I am looking for a chip to put into the ECU to have it not see the VATS anymore.

It's quite possible your module itself may be bad and not sending a start signal to the PCM. This is an option to totally bypass the VATS module: VATS Bypass Module
A member here also did a write up on how to make your own, as the components are fairly cheap.

I saw that and was thinking about getting it. I read it has to connect to the ECU, what pin is the VATS wire?

After reading this thread, I think I'm gonna by the bypass module. Don't get me going on VATS (too late now). I needlessly replaced my battery cause the car wouldn't start. I put the battery in then it started. If I just would have waited 10 minutes, it would have started anyway. I've had enough VATS.
