TBI to carb swap no overdrive

Default TBI to carb swap no overdrive

when i got my 92 it had already been changed over to a carb and it has no overdrive as in if you put the gear shifter into overdirve it will not go but it will go if you put it into drive
any suggestions as to what i need to do to fix this

Add a lock up switch in your dash is what I would do

What do you mean when you put it in OD it won't move? It should move just fine, and it should shift into OD. The torque converter won't lock up however.

check your linkage and make sure it goes into every gear

What do you mean the torque converter won't lock up? What does that do?
