89 350 tbi to carb swap
I have a 350 from a 89 caprice I'm swapping into a 96 camaro in place of the v6 I'm wanting to do this on a budget and I was wondering if anyone has ever done this and what parts they went with any help would be appreciated Thanks

Just a quick note to say that I did this swopp on a 92 rs. Pulled out the 305 and replaced it with a 350 out of a 92 suburban. I went with a 670 street avenger holley and a edlbrock performer intake. as far as your fuel pump goes you can eather go with a mech. or just use the pump in the tank,but with one mod. you have to use a press. regulator that is adjustable and that has a fuel return or you will burn out the pump in the tank and we all know how much fun that is to replace. The reg. I used was from holley. About $68.00 at o-Riely's if I remember right. I went with a standard HEI distributor and used the hot ign. wire from the TBI ignition system to run it. all has worked out very good.
