TBI to carb, got a few questions i didnt see answers to
The regulator holley makes has a return port on and it shouldnt put anymore strain on it than the tbi system probably less than what the injection does thought maybe this would work better so you wouldnt have to drop the tank
i probably will while the rear end is out anyway, since there are so many miles on it, i dont want to get this all done and then have the pump go out
I think you are best off just pulling the pump, then placing a mechanical pump on the block. Much easier and more reliable IMHO.
yea, we will see. Ive been thinking a mechanical pump. But like i said, idk about the sending unit for the fuel level and if i can just take the old pump OUT because i dont want that thing sitting in there. Compressed air trick or not..
and going from fi to carb the distributor will need changed out the msd set ups are nice and by far the best on the market my buddy has a pro billet that was bought close to 10 years ago never has a problem with it
yea i knew about the distributor, thats why i asked about the MSD setup. I might go with a regular setup untill im up and running, then upgrade. IDK, kinda a waste of money if im just gona change it shortly after im done
