ORIGINAL: 350rs

for giggles, say i got this setup...

http://holley.com/300-48.asp
remember: i need to keep this emissions LEGAL LOOKING, so i need the egr valve. but i do not need to pass the sniffer anymore

and top that off with a Street Avenger 670? and a cam of some kind obviously, but idk which one yet

Goal here is low to mid 400 with all motor and maybe a small shot of nitrous for some fun. like a 150 shot, maybe not even.
It would depend on how much that costs, because the edelbrock perfomer intake is not really any different and can be had for $120. Here is a link to a reman street avenger: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Holle...ayphotohosting

Its like $100 less than a new one from jegs and has a lifetime warranty, I will be ordering one from them soon.

i got a question about the fuel pump thing too. right now im have an AFPR but id rather just run a mechanical pump. has anyone done the compressed air into the in-tank fuel pump thing and how do you do it?

The intank pump IS NOT COMPUTER CONTROLLED find the relay on the drivers side cowl find the hot wire put a 20 amp fuse on the hot wire and tap it into a 12 switched source get a hgolley regulator this one is adjustable and thats all you need to doimo id much rather have electric pump than a mechanical. any questions on doing this feel free to pm i have done this close 30 times and never had a problem

oh yea i know about the regulator. But i dont want to put the extra strain on it with 216k on that pump. Id have to get a regulator with a return on it, which means dropping the tank anyway, so why not just pull the pump to start with ya know? Do they have an electric in tank pump that flows for a carb??
