Default t top plugs or fill?

okay so im building a summer / strip car.

it will more than likely be a 10 second car, with a full 10 point cage.

Ive been contimplating a roof swap.. however it seems like Alot of work and im mostly more concerned about making the windshield hole proper when cutting pillars (anyone reccomend anything like take a picture and draw on it in paint where to cutt?)

Okay on to the real question, do they make a Steel plug for the t tops so it would be like a removable top but steel instead of glass.

Also if i just replaced the t top glass with steel, to make a removable t top of steel.

would it be nhra legal?

i heard t tops are considered a coupe with them in, but i dont want to deal with a hassle that could have been avoided...

Also would a steel t top be the same as an escape hatch?

The Camaro is a coupe by design. T-tops in or out. What you should do is look for a NHRA rule book. You will have it with you to answer any of your questions as they come up. I bought them before at the local speed shop.
