Were I a crazy person with a spare set of tops for my 1987 Camaro, how might I remove the glass from the t-top panel's frame? I want a set of just the rails with holes in the top where the panels would go.

I've heard breaking the window adhesive with instrument string or a heat gun may work. I'm open to any suggestions, really...

I have been going at it with a simple sawblade. This will take a while. I would much prefer a faster means removal.
