Stock Ram Air?

Stock Ram Air?
My car has a dual ram-air intake setup that came stock. I recently heard that it might be rare? I honestly have no clue. Its a '84 Z28. I just kinda assumed its the way Z28's came. I don't know much about the 3rd gen. Can anyone shed some light on the situation? Here's a pic of one of the sides. Its symmetrical obviously.

If that is stock then that is an easy sign you have the H.O. (High Output). Not all Z28's were HO's. Different cam, higher compression and I think different secondary metering rods and computer tune.
Its not like its a rare item. But that air cleaner set up is expensive when you go to buy it.

on the air filter sticker it should read H.O. promenantly, and it should say 5.0 liter H.O. on the dash. also the 8th code on the vin will tell you also. G is the L69 which is high output ( bigger cam., compression, 3 inch exhaust, etc.) I think the stock 305 is H.
those two hoses and the scoops are cheap and easy to find, but I like you, so I will give ya 10 bucks for them. LOLOL. no really I have the 84 and they are very hard to find so dont lose them. I am tring to find a set myself for mine.

He could also have a car that some one installed a ZZ3 kit into that included the assembly. But the cleaner assemblies are not too hard to find. ****-E-bay has them often. Nextgenparts.com and classicindustries.com sold them. But the whole assembly was around $300. Just the main body was about $190. Though it is a discontinued item if a dealer wanted to search they may find some NOS ones around. When I worked in a body shop the dealer found a NOS 20 year old Nova Quater panel.

Thanks for the info guys, it really helped. And, it is indeed a h.o.
Lol, I'll sell this car to you for 2,000 >_< jkjk I got it for 1500 with a few minor problems. The guy I got it from overheated it and "Cracked the radiator" It turned out that the radiator was fine, the d4mn drain plug wasn't tight. haha. Other then that, it just had a leaky pipe clamp (lol) the distributor was loose, and its missing and running weird. I suspect its a sensor creating it to run weird. My check engine light comes on intermittently, and it bogs down at weird random times. More details if you want to hear, but right now I'm too lazy and tired to do a good job.
