starting system
Remove the panels under the column. The plastic one around the brake pedal and the pad by your knees. Remove the two nuts on the big braket that hold the column up. (makes it easier) I think they are 15mm. Let the column down so the steering wheel rest on the seat. The ignition switch is all the way at the bottom of the column on top of it. It will have lots of 10 gauge wires on it. It has two screws on the left side of it holdoing it to the column. I think they are 5/16. You will aslo see a rod going under it. That is comimng from the key cylinder and is what works the switch. Loosen the screws and slide the switch and work the key until you can turn it into accy position. Tighten the screws and test it to see if it starts. Possibly you need to move the switch down towards the firewall.
Hope this helps and Good Luck.

It may be the switch itself. But I have seen problem a lot. And I usualy picked it up by checking if the key would turn into the acc position. When your down there look close at the switch and check for burns on the switch or wires.
Oh. You may have to remove the small switch with the three wires. Thats the dimmer switch. It may be on a stud and has a nut under it that needs to be loosened. Sorry for forgetting that.
