starting system

Default starting system

i have a 92 rs when i yturn it over it doesnt want to start. starter is good. no power in the gear selector switch any ideas?

You need to explain this one. Does the starter spin the engine? Does the engine run? What do you mean "no power in gear selector switch"?

when i turn over the ignition the car wont start. I am Getting no power to the purple wire or S terminalon the solenoid.

Check your fuseable links. pull on the wires, just dont look at them. Try to start it with it in neutral. Maybe the neutral safety switch. Maybe ignition switch. Do the instrument lights go out when you turn it to crank position?
Maybe your ignition switch is out of adjustment. Can you turn the key back to the accesory position?

ignition switch is good. there is no pwer in the neutrel safety switch and the lights dont go out. No i cant turn the key back to the ACCY

Then you switch is out of adjustment
