Hey guys so the clutch installation was a success with the exception of the last bolt to be installed decided to strip on the way in. SOB! I was wonder if any one knows off hand what the spline count for the rear axles are. I'm looking at a rear end with 3.73's and about 1500 miles on it for my 10 bolt (don't have the money to put an entire rear axle assembly in it plus I'm just looking for more pep). It has a 28 spline count and I was wondering if this was the stock count as I don't have money to change the axles as well.

I think in 90 was when the change was going so that is an iffy year

 

If it has a 3:73 stock ratio it is a early 84-86 10-bolt it has 26 spline axle shafts.

 

Thanks it's a one legger but I don't know what the ratio is I highly doubt it has stock 3:73's
