That seems to good to be true. In my area they go for big money. If they are looking nice. Idk.

 

deciding whether or not to buy a third gen project car is entirely up to you. if you feel like putting the time and money into it, then go for it. but if you dont have the time or money to put in it then your better off buying a car that is already road worthy

 

I'm 18. I just got my 3rd gen and I love the thing. I'm so glad I didn't get it till after i got out of highschool though. You know why? Cause i wrecked the TETOTAL HELL out of my s10. Granted it wasnt totally my fault but I put myself in a situation where if I had been in my camaro i would have died. No airbags, t-tops, seatbelts that don't catch. its a screaming metal deathtrap my friend. So I guess what I'm saying is take your equivalent of a hand-me-down s10 and learn to drive (cause trust me you don't know how to drive and neither do I) somethin slow before you start playin with a loaded gun that has more than 300 horses at the wheels. And as far as buyin a project goes, I didnt do it. i had been savin my money since long before i wrecked my truck for my car. my parents gave me a few hundred dollars but i paid for most of that car myself. I felt like earning the money i spent on the thing fully built was just as good as buildin it myself and in the end a lot cheaper. I purchased my car for less than 1/4 of whats been put in it. Definately the way to go.
