shorter belts? or bigger problems?

finishing my 350 swap, originaly i had the tpi and the serpitine pulley system, changed my mind and going with a carb.wanted to know if my pulley system would be off balance if im not running air con, or the smog pump. So i have this entire unused bracket with the belt tentioner...... shorter belts?... Bigger problems?

theres a few solutions to this. you can get the a/c and air pump delete pulleys, or other guys just run shorter belts which seem to work as well.
