Default Short Circuit?

When I first got the car, the interior lights did not work. I replaced the fuse and it worked fine, for about a week. Its done the same thing about 3 times, and I just keep replacing the fuse for a quick fix. could it be a short circuit maybe? is there a way to trace the wires running from the overhead dome light without having to tear out the headliner? the headliner is trash anyways, might as well, lol.

Try dropping down your dome lite assy from your headliner as far down as possible. Inspect the wiring as deepinto the headliner possible.Your going to have to remove the two push clips that hold it in place. Hardware storesand auto parts supplierssells them if you break them while removing. I think the wiring continues down the drivers a-pillar but I'm not sure. You might be able to pop the trim off toinspect thatwiring. Removing the headliner is not that hard if you have extra help supporting it. Just be careful not to destroy the rear slots where theseat belt rolls up.
