Possible worn u-joints maybe? Try checking your drive shaft for play. Did you do any repairs or mods prior to the shaking?

do you feel it more in the steering wheel or does it feel like its comming from the engine or the rest of the driveline?

not sure if this is the problem but check your engine and tranny mounts. or a bad bearing somewhere. i bet its not those, but sometimes its the things you think of the least. when you checked your tires were they balenced properly?

Try to isolate the problem. When you reach shaking speed, put the transmission in neutral and let the engine idle down, andsee if things are still shaking. If the shaking stopped then it came from the engine. If shaking persists, it is coming from the chassis. If the steering wheel vibrates, check tire balance and alignment, check shocks, check for worn front end parts. If the vibration tickles your feet or butt check the drive shaft for bending, check U joints for wear, check rear suspension.

I had a problem like that with my grand am.....about a month after the shaking started a tie rod snapped....check around your wheels for worn rods and arms...all that stuff.
