Default Replaceing the IAC

i got a new idel air control valve today, im going to replace it tomorrow after work. Any tips or hints to it? or is it simply a take out, and then put the new one in?

I think i read if its over 1 5/8" out from the "base", i have the make the new one match the old one ( that might read over 1 5/8") Might be a different mesurment, im tired and forgot it, but i think thats it. ill read again before i do it.

It seems pretty straight forward, but if there are any hints or tips, i would love to hear it!!

also, i can keep the TBI on it right? i dont have to take it off the manifold for some reason?
