Default Reliability?

Were the 88' Camaro Z28's with a 4 speed and 305 reliable? There is a guy in my town selling a blue one in great condition and was looking to pick it up, since im in college it is more economical for me to own my current 97' V6 Camaro and this 88' V8 than to buy a newer Z28 and risk messing up my only car. I would buy this Z28 strictly for a little bit of V8 fun and drive the V6 to work and etc.

Default RE: Reliability?

About as reliable as any twenty year old car can be. Depends on how theptrvious owners maintained it or abused the car. It will be a crap shoot, hope you have mechanical abilities.
