Default Recently picked up a 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

Finally picked up my dream car as a kid. I'm 24 years old now and I've got 3 other vehicles but I've always wanted to buy an Iroc Z since I turned 16.

I just recently bought a 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible.

Black with Red Stripes. Red leather interior.

101,000 Original Miles.

It is an 8/10 vehicle right now. Minor **** is usual on these cars. Paint is really good, Interior could use minor touch ups. Engine is bone stock.

I will end up spending around $10,000 in mods within my first year of purchase. I was thinking of throwing in a LS1 or LS3 motor in but still debating at the moment.

I haven't even ****ing got the car yet but I got so many plans. I'm waiting for the transportation company to pick it up and bring it to me. Approx 7-10 days.

Right now the car is bone stock, if you guys have any recommendations on what I should to do the engine, please let me know. Also, any modifications to the interior and exterior will be much appreciated. I will be putting in a sound system in so I don't need help with that. I may need help with interior seats if I want to swap the original leathers with new custom buckets with fatter cushioned seats.

I feel like I just went on like a ***** but I'm excited.

I've got a summit racing engine thats 13 years old and its still haulin satchel. If this isn't your daily driver (my camaro is mine and my back pocket is feeling it) then i think you should put whatever you think will make it go the fastest. Also im pretty new to this particular forum but as a rule of thumb don't cuss on any forum.

10K is most likely not enough for an LS3, or even LS1, unless you pick one up for dirt cheap. You will need to check with emission laws as well if you are considering any type of swap.

didnt know about the swearing, my bad.

I was quoted about 12-13k for the full LS3 swap. I need to look into it still a bit further.

This isn't going to be my daily driver but only for summer 3-4 months max.

Anyone know good vendor websites to look up accessories and other random stuff?
