yup , bolt right in. another idea is using a 4th gen rearend which will bolt right in but you have to use wheels for a 4th gen. you have to use 2" spacers on the front to make them fit. the 3rd gen cars look really good with the 4th gen SS wheels and 275/40/17" tires.

Before you get bogged down in deails, be advised that the10-bolt rears for both 3rd& 4th gen cars are the same. They will hold up to the numbers you think you can make. Any rear will self destruct if you do something DUMB & STUPID.
Only other major detail of the 4th gen rear is that it is 4" wider (2" per side) then the stock 3rd gen one. Spacers are used on the axles front /rear to maintain the correct offsets for different wheels.
