Default quick header question

yea, i know, wrong area for header questions, but that area dont get hit often...

anyway, on my exhaust manifold, i have lines, which look like fuel line ( i know thats not what it is, but it gives ya a good idea) comming from each downpipe. Me and my dad are thinking its the smog injectors. But im thinking about getting headers to help in the horsepower department and i dont know if i can just buy some, drill and tap the wholes, and stick them in, or if its a thing that needs to be ordered or what? What kind are best for say, 400 to 500 dollar range?? Or less if possible while still getting street and emission legal headers. It is my daily driver after all... Thanks.

Im pretty sure that is what those pipes are, You can buy Headers with all the emmision tubes like you need, headman and hooker makes really good headers in the 3-4 hundred dollar range.

that is where the air pump hooks up if u dont have emissions loose it, if you do have emissions dont, in the past it was hooked up to the intake, in short if u wanna gain horse loose it, and the pump thats runnin on your belt loose it too
