Motor mounts, Maybe the radiator. Of course you will need whatever it takes to run the motor. Like if you put in another computer contoled motor you would need the computer for it. And also depending on what you put in a fuel pump. It should not be a hard swap like a V8 S10 since the Camaro was made with V8s. But you should consider the cost. If you can get a motor and trans cheap then you are over half way there. But if you cant then you might just want to consider finding a V8 car.
I did a 97 4.3 swap in my mom's 84 S10
1. she loves her truck so that killed my plans of findeing her a newer truck
2. I got two astro vans. one for the accesories and computer and trans and other stuff. The second I had to do a little work to and sold it. Made my money back and then some.
So with those things in mind that swap worked out for me.

ok that sounds good. im getting a 305 from one of my friends but i need to rebuild it so that should be pretty costly but other than those things do i need tochange anything else like the rear end or anything like that so the car can handle the engine?

The rear will be fine.
What gauges other than a tach, if he has that and not the big fuel gauge, will be junk. And does that car even have gauges or idiot lights?

yea and the speedometer has a side just for kilometers per hour and the other for miles per hour and its the same way for the gas gauge - one side is measured in liters and the other is in gallons. ive never seen something like this before i got this car but then again im not that experienced with cars as much as some of you guys are.

Yeah I forgot about the speedo. My dad had an 83 Z28 and it had that 85mph/ ???kph. One half white needlethe other yellow. If I remember correct that was some stupid little old ladys idea to keep people from speeding was to not let them know how fast they were acctualy going.
