Proportioning valve?
Hey guys, I took a look under my hood this morning and noticed that under my master cylinder and booster is what looks to be a proportioning valve. The guy I bought my rear end from gave me the piece and it looks exactly the same as what I have in my car already. My question is since I have drum brakes now and the rear that I'm putting in (the 9 bolt posi with disc brakes) I'm assuming I have to change the proportioning valve anyway correct? I didn't think that it would have been there since I have drums in the rear but I just want to make sure before I do the swap and blow my car up. You guys have been great and thanks for all the help.

Yep he gave everything for it including the sway bar and rear springs with the bushings. I'm having the calipers rebuilt as we speak so everything will be good to go when I bolt her in. I can't wait.
If you change out the proportioning valve would you be interested in selling it? I blew out a rear wheel cylinder and mine is locked down and conveniently the part has been discontinued!!!!!!!
