Finally got the fender off!!! Man was it a pain in the a$$, first of all we had to take off the ground effects (which are going to be taken off to be prepped for paint) then the fender was damaged as I told you guys before, but we could get to the the two bottom bolts on the front, but the top one on the front we couldn't so we had to plasma cut a piece out to get to it...then since the fender was junk we just plasma cut the other half off to make it easier lol...and that was mostof what we did today as we didn't have a lot of time to do stuff...here's some pics

unfortunately I'm not keeping the stripes down the side...going for the white with the two stripes on the hood and then in the back...as for the plasma cutting that was my father doing that....the kid that we bought it off of said a deer ran into the side of the fender and that bolt was bent up instead of staying at what position it normally is...

As for next week, we'll probably be working on putting the replacement fender on, as well as the new hood...all from the donor car...that is if my little one doesn't come...he's due the 20th...so basically any day now

 

What kind of hood are you puting on? stock, steel or fiberglass?

 

LOL plasma cutter....Access holes....LOL. That tool can be just toooo much fun at times
