plan to fix 87 iroc's bent frame
hello everyone,
I have a theory about fixing my iroc's bent frame. Every thing behind the front of the engine is fine. the arms that hold the bumper reinforcment are crushed back an passenger sides bent down 1inch an driver side up 1inch.
The plan: If i was to get a jack, big sledge hamer, chains, a welder an sheets of tin. An some how forced the frame level an welded the tin real nice to cover where the frame had been bent.
than thiers no reason why it wouldnt pass nh inspection, if its not visibly bent they cant tell, right. i havent figured all the details out but thats why i posted it on here to get some advice. thank you everyone[sm=jawdrop.gif]

Have you tried a good body shop? They have the tools to straighten cars out properly. If just the front sub frame (engine cradle) is bent, you can get a good one from a scrap yard and replace your bent up one, just 4 big bolts holding them in place. Much better results than trying to straigten the old one. Just some ideas.
