Default Pitman Arm????

Hey guys whats up. I have a hell of a questions and I feel dumb for asking lol. Doesnt a 87 Camaro have a pitman arm??? I mean I know there was one on the streeing grear box I took out. Now I am trying to find a pitman arm because I am redoing the whole front before the engine goes in. So any help would be great thanks

Default RE: Pitman Arm????

The pitman is the one on the box. The idler arm is opposite that. They both connect to the center (or drag link) and from there is the innerand the outer tie rods. If I remeber correct you dont need to replace a pitman unless its damaged because the moveable joints are on the center link.

Default Fast ratio/ slow ratio Pitman arm

I have a 67 Camaro that I converted to power steering. Added a quick ratio steering box with a fast ratio Pitman arm. The combo is too fast for my taste. Can I change to a standard ratio Pitman arm on my Quick ratio steering box and will that slow down the steering? Thanks for your help.
