Default Performance Chip?

Hey guys,
I wanted to get opinions on performance chips. I was thinking about getting a Hypertech performance chip for my 86 Z-28
Here's the link: http://www.performancemarket.com/cat...rtech&s=1&my=1

Would it be worth the money, and also is it hard to install these chips?
Thanks a lot

Unless you have some major mods (cam, heads & etc) I would get a custom prom and not that Hyperjunk chip. It is a waste of money and It is not going to help the car run any better, but may result in decrease performance. I run a aftermaket prom (chip) for the above reasons (major mods).

Then I saved you from wasting your money on thar Hyperjunk Prom. Anything that is a bolt on performance item that is advertised to add 20+ hp is junk. Some people do horsepower by addition, they add up every bolt on with the vendors estimates and before you know it they have 325 HP 305TBI.
