Default overheating

Alright i noticed my car was overheating, so i checked the fan to see if it is going than and it was not going on at all. So i replaced the motor on the fan. Still didnt work, so i replaced the relay andstill didnt come on. So i cut the wire and got another input into the fan motor. STILL DIDNT WORK!!!!! The only other i know to check is the temp switch. Where is it located? Or is there something else i shoul check?

if all else fails hook up a toggle switch and just flip it when you engine gets hot.

i believe the sensor youll want to check out is the coolant temp. some are located on the passenger side beneath the number 6 cylinder exhaust i believe. i have one on the thermo houseing as well.

If you put battery directly to the motor and it didn't run, and you know the motor is good, then you either, had no battery on the new lead, put battery on the wrong lead and blew a fuse or got a big spark, or you don't have a good ground to the fan motor. Also check the fusible links, one of them is for the fan.
