Default Oops. Need help! Wtf do I do?

Ok...
I changed my spark plugs...blah blah blah.
WELL, I mangaed to confuse myself so much, I forgot which wire went to which plug.
THEN I popped all the wires off the distributor cap in an attemp to find some kind of label for which wire goes to which cylinder.
In short, I need help.
Anyone have a diagram or illustration that can help me?
My car is currently ****ed.

84z28 v8 btw :-p

Keep this info:
Firing order 1 8 4 3 6 6 7 2
Odd number cylinders on driver side, even numbers on passenger side
Distributor rotor rotatates clockwise

You need to find the where the hole for the # 1 plug wire is on the distributor cap. Sometimes it is marked other times it is not.
If it is marked then you are in luck. Connect the wire to the number 1 plug there, and going clockwise, connect the wire for the # 8 plug in the next hole, continue following the firing order. Do one wire at the time, distributor to plug.

If the distributor cap in not marked, you will have to find it the hard way.
1) Hopefully you have timing marks on the crankshaft pulley and the front cover.
2) Rotate engine clockwise till the timing marks indicate top dead center. This means that the #1 and #6 cylinders are at top dead center, but you want the #1 cylinder to be at TDC on the compression stroke, which means you will have to pull the driver side valve cover and rotate the engine till both valves are closed on the #1 cylinder, and the timing marks indicate TDC.
3) Remove the distributor cap, the rotor is now pointing to the #1 cylinder.
4) Partially insert the dist cap back and mark the locstion where the rotor is pointing to. This is your #1 cylinder plug wire location. Now put the wires back in in the proper order.

Next time you change wires, do one at the time.

Good explain Pete but.....
its 18436 5 72
And #1 should be as you look at the cap and where the battery wire and others plug into. starting there and going clockwise from there the first bolt you come to #1 is on the left.
So it goes electrical conector, hold down screw, #1
Do I make sense?

Yeah No offence intended to ZeeTwenty but he might have got stumped when he reached those two.
If his luck is like mine, with a 50/50 chance he would have chose wrong.
