Default Replacing instrument lightbulbs???

Hi,

Could someone connect me to a link or tell me how to get to the back of the instrument cluster to replace bad bulbs. I'm having a heck of the time trying to figure it out. It's a 92 RS 3.1L Auto

Thanks!!

Thanks Mad. But what's up with your ESP?! LOL You should have read my mind.

Need to put my brain in gear!! It is a 92 RS. That might help.

Damn! I kept seeing 91
Remove the lower cover under the colum. There is two holes that have plugs in them. Pry those out with a small screwdriver and there are bolts under that.
Remove the screws from the bezel and (thinking.....) I think the only scres are at the bottom and clips at the top. Pull staight toward you at the top.
Then there are 7mm screw holding the cluster in. If memory serves me (again my ESP is not work right so I do not know) The cluster should pull right out from the dash. It should have an all electric instruments so there is no speedo cable. And the harness plugs usualy stay in place.
Good Luck.

Thanks!!

I will go take a look at it right now. Before, I was able to pull the beauty ring/trim from around the cluster but it seemed like something was holding it back. I didn't want to break anything (sound like I've learned from past experience??) so I got online here.

Yup, that worked. I had to take out 5 screws out the bottom panel. Taking out the cluster was a bit of a tricky puzzle.

Thanks Mad!
