I have a 91 Camaro - RS V8. I've had no problems with this car, it's been great to me. All of a sudden I turned the car on the other day and noticed that my speedometer needle no longer worked, hence no mileage being tracked. Could this be an easy fix? Need to know my speed when on the highway!!

Any ideas?

 

well there electric so i would say it can be a few things. could be the sensor in the tailshaft of the trans. could be a lose or broken wire somewere between the trans and the gauge. could be the gauge itself. im not sure if your yr has a modual on the speedo system.

well i have the same car and the same problem but mine works when the car warms up to 220 degrees so would that be the sensor in the trans?
