Default New Owner, HELP

About 2 weeks ago I bought a 92 Camaro RS, 53,000 miles on it, from the original owner. Clean as can be...

I'm hoping to pull some power out of her, I can feel the restricted acceleration, I know theres potential in there somewhere!

Anybody have any suggestions? bolt-on's, internals, anything?

Throttle Body Injection

I'll get some pictures of it up sometime today!

OK, I only answer because no one else has. First of all you need to start with opening up your air intake. A low restriction air filter will add just a TAD of felt acceleration. K&N and the like love to say 'HUGE HORSEPOWER" but you will almost never really feel a difference.

Then, move on to your fuel and intake manifold. I assume your 92 is fuel injected. I know NOTHING about FI cars, but if you add a high performance fuel system and a performance intake manifold, you will start to notice some REAL differences.

Then move on to your exhaust. Headers, big pipes, glasspacks, this will REALLY wake her up.

But, be warned. The 305 is a dog. Even with all that work, you are going to want to start thinking about swapping in a 350. I know its a HUGE undertaking and one that not everyone is capable of, but if you really want this car to have some *****, its gonna take a 350.

BTW.......a 305 CAN be worked for giant horespower, but a 350 is cheaper in the long run.

Good luck.
