I am not going to tell you to do a half a-- job with the incorrect headers you ordered.

install was $450 because they broke off two header bolts inside the cylinder head in the process.[:@]

 

Yah I'm installing them myself. I have the engine torn down to the block with nothing else under the hood except the the wires. A/C everything out, exhaust manifolds (obviously), cylinder heads, intake manifold, alt, power steering pump. I'm hoping they won't be too tough to take out. I've heard I'll probably have to life my engine a couple inches to squeeze them in there. Hopefully all goes well. I'll keep ya posted on how long it took and how hard it was. lol

 

i put headers on my 85 iroc and i just lost the cat and ripped out all the smog pump crap, now it look s like theres an engine instead of junk thats not needed. anyone can do it, you just need to know people who inspect cars. if you dont, make a friend, thats what i did.
