I have a 84 z -28 w/a L69 H.O. 305 and just wanna know if they are better than basic 305s and can you do more with it.its a pretty powerful engine i think. Does alot of camaros come with the ho motor ?.let me know what u guys think. thnx

 

They have a few better things like 1.84' intake Valves instead of 1.72". A better cam and a few other little things but not a lot different than regular 305.

 

It was a good engine for its time, but now it is limited by size. Not much you can do with 305 ci but spend a lot of money for little improvements. Just leave it stock and enjoy what you have.
