I've noticed you like to do customizing....me too, however I like my stuff correct, and not cobbled together. Either find the right gears, or have a speedo that is off by a lot. I prefer not to spend an afternoon in a junkyard as I don't have a lot of spare time, so I'll ask how much do you really save by spending the time and effort to pull the wrong gears from a junkyard trans and put them in yours vs. getting the right stuff that is correct and not beat to death.
Also, please tell me how a vbelt pulley system that is only two accessories sucks? I would get it if you were four or five accys. deep, but two?

NO TIME TO WAIT??? You could have them shipped and in your greasey little paws in couple days.
I would go with V-belts. Change to standard rotation water pump and get low mount for alt.
WHY add 2 extra pulleys to keep serpentine belt???

idk cus im odd i dont like everyday store bought bs...
anyone can buy something and bolt it on.... i hate that
i dont cobble things either. i was a machinist for 3 years and ive been certified in arc mig tig for 4 years.
things i make last longer than store bought and is stronger
as for spedo i dont care if it is a bit off... but i do know the exact teeth and color both gears need to be.

I'm not going to get into a pissing contest with you. I enjoy fabrication work as well, I just feel my time is more valuable than the few bucks I save by making something that doesn't really need to made in the first place. Same goes for junkyards, I'm not at all above it, I just don't have the time for it anymore.
