Default Need help diagnosing tranny leak.

My th350 is leaking to the tune of a drip every 30 seconds. It appears to be coming from ABOVE the transmission pan, passenger side, front right corner. I washed the engine&tranny down the other day and the leak actually got worse! The only part that I know of in this area is the TV cable, and I replaced that last week. (Had leak before procedure as well.) Suggestions?

Possible leak from the shaft seal.

Im not sure. Shaft seal would run down the front. This seems to be coming from ABOVE the bottom of the bell housing, like where the lines and TV cable hook into. Im really hoping its just a loose line. This thing is leaking 1/5 a quart a day! And I just resealed my driveway!!! Is it possible to leak from the dipstick mount hole or the TV cable hole? Do either holes have gaskets?

I love this car. I HATE getting underneath it.

your gonna have to get underneath it. If its possible get it as high as possible, make sure its safe to crawl under it. take a can of carb or brake cleaner with you and a couple rags and clean off the tranny as much as possible. after that rub your hand around it, if its drippin every 30secs you should find it. Does it have tranny cooler lines? check them out, and yea it can lead from the dip stick.

It is the input shaft seal in front of the tranny and Not the dr shaft seal. Pull the dust shield and check it out.
