Hi guys! I'm a newbie on here soooo i'm needing your help! I have a '91 rs 305 5sp, my prob is my tach. when i start the car it seems to work but when the car get running the tach pegs all the way past 7k and stays there the whole time. does anyone have or had this prob and what will fix it it is driving me nuts!!! And 1 more thing when i have the heater on, and I'm at a stoplight ,i can hear the motor surging it never did this b4 either, when i shut it off the motor runs normal. Any info greatly appreciated!!

 

sounds like a computer problem but I'm not sure, but I'd check there first since you have seemingly unrelated problems.
