Hi My Fellow camaro fans.... i am an owner of a 1988 Iroc-z....with a Automatic...305....but i am having some trouble figuring out what this horrible cracking noise is in the front driver side.....it sounds like somethin cracking in the A-arm..... PLUS I just had my front lower ball joints and center link replaced...so if you have any ideas on what that cracking could be it would be greatly appreciated.......o and it does it when i push on the hood and make the car bounce or when im driving over dips...........

 

could it be the tie rod end, my dad's 2000 impala has that same nasty noise and thats whats goin out on his, and plus he and i can both feel it in the steering wheel when we drive it.

 

naaaa i dont think thats it cuz i dont feel it when im steering just when the car bounces but thanks for replying

 

control arm bushings. sway bar end links can also do that.

 

not ur struts is it?
