Need answer before i make my decision on getting a camaro
as some of you might now im looking at a 1991 camaro the people want 700.00 for. well im only gonna give them 500 hopefully they take it. well my question is this : When you are beside the driver side of the car and you look right under the body where the drivers side front floorboard is, is that the uni-body or the floor board? reason why i am asking is because when i looked under where this place is, i noticed the beginning of rust right there. hopefully its just a floorboard, figured i could get some help from you guys on here. thanks for the help.
Floor board. you can see the bolts where the subframe is attatched to the floor pan. it is then welded around the subframe to blend it in with floor.
thanks a bunch, i was afraid it was the frame but since its just a floor board i will definetly persue that car if nothing else better comes up. when i get the car , i will post pictures of all that is wrong with it and show you guys.
well they ( the dealership where the car is at) wont come off 700.00 for the car and they wont tow it for me if i buy, so it is out of the question, i know where there might be another camaro so i will check with at this other dealership and see if theres one there. or i know for sure where a 91 firebird 5 speed project is right now for 400.00 . i want a standard real bad but i like camaros, i m confused right now.
If the body is already in need of repair on the firebird, it's probably easier to swap the body parts for those of a Camaro than it would be to do a manual conversion in an f-body, Sure it won't say Camaro on the title, but it's the same thing to anyone who looks at it, anyway.
