At first I was having a hell of a time identifying this car but now I'm almost positive it's a 1st gen Camaro. Just would like to confirm it with you guys and see if you can narrow down any more details about it for me, I know some of you gear heads can probably give me the VIN just from a glance. Also, I have a picture of just the tail-light of another car. I know it's not much to go on but can anybody venture a guess on what it belongs to. I'm thinking a Challenger but just want a second opinion.

 

It's either a 67 or 68 Camaro. Picture is dark so it's hard to tell the year, but it does look like an RS model (hideaway headlights). If it's a 67, it would have the vent windows on the doors, if not, it's a 68.

 

the picture of the tail lights show that it is a 1968 camaro because it has the split tail light bezels and has the side marker lights. and from what i can tell of the front veiw it has no vent windows.

Both are "first generation", although some would call "first generation" the ONLY Camaros made....
