i like red. lol. make sure you check the frame, window edges and cubby holes for cancer. can never see that dang window rust till its out. although if your racing that may not be a bad thing. beat if off and lose weight. surface rust is sometimes the hardest to deal with. gotta kill it or it just keeps coming back. 350 should have a 5.7 on the side good mechanic should be able to tell quik so your buddy is probly right.

Can't wait to get it looking like a diamond the body has a few spots otherwide it's good my mechanic buddy said he has some white paint they painted his brothers 91 camaro with might do that for now then paint it black

Do NOT cheap out on your paint job......I did a quick sand on mine, fixed a few spots of surface rust and blasted over the major trouble areas.....
Here I am, 5 years later...Im totally in love with my car, have several K invested in the engine, drivetrain and suspension.....but the rust and bubbles are starting to poke thru. It RUINS an otherwise perfect car. If you are going to paint......budget at LEAST 1500 for it. (Thats a BARE bones job, assuming you have friends in the industry. Dont skimp on prep. dont skimp on prep. dont skimp on prep)...
