Default More silly questions! HUZZAH!

Yay! So like I said in other posts the Camaro I got from some kid has a high volume oil pump installed. It makes the oil gauge peg at 60. My question is do I need to be running a specific type of oil for that high volume pump and also how much? I know the book specs for oil but will that be the same with the different hardware?

As always thanks for the help in advance Looking to get the Iroc inspected today and back on the road.......... legally

no, you dont need to run any different oil for the high volume pump. just stick with 5w30 or what you have been using. do you mean how much by how much oil? add it until the dipstick says full
