Default lower steering shaft question

Having an issue finding one of these. Have a ton of play in my wheel, my mechanic says it's the lower steering shaft. He attempted to rebuild but that failed after a few weeks of driving.

He's having a heck of a time finding another one and I've decided to start checking the local craigslist entries for parts cars to see if I can find it as well... My only question is what years is it specific to? :P

I have an 85 z28 (auto) with a tilt steering wheel. GM doesn't make this shaft anymore which is amazing considering how many cars it's been in. Anyone happen to know the year range on this part off the top of their head? Google hasn't brought up too much.

Thanks in advance!

I am not sure if the airbag years are different but to be safe 82-89 including Pontiac and GM. Those cars are plentiful in the wrecking yards here. And if its that rubber on it it can be replaced.
