I recently bought an 89 RS. I have most of the bugs worked out that it came with (speedo not working, dash lights not hooked up). The only thing I cant figure out is the driver side mirror. It is not electric, and when I move the adjustment lever it moves very little or not at all. When I try to push it to where it needs to be it is really loose and falls back to where it is now. The housing and everything is tight as I have checked that already. I am just wondering if anyone knows what might be causing the problem and if it can be fixed or if I need to get a whole new mirror.

Have you followed the lever, to the connectors/joints and tighten those?
