Looking for help/mechanic in Long Beach for barn find!
Hello folks!
My neighbor recently moved and sold me his one (family owned) 1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS. It's a six speed manual car, red, leather, I love it. I've been quietly working away on it, I had a new gas tank fitted and put a new fuel pump in it, some other little bits and bobs. It's been in his garage since 2005... he told me it had a clutch or gearbox problem. I got it started today (with new gas!) and it rockets.
I need some help with getting it back on the road properly. The power steering fluid is bubbly and dirty, the pump makes a noise. I'd like to get the fuel gauge working, it seems to be a bit loose at the back end, some other stuff.
Does anybody out there know a good Chevrolet shop in Long Beach, California? Or is there a member who would be willing to bring the car back to its best?
Thanks for listening.
