Light troubles...

Default Light troubles...

I recently took the dash out of my Camaro and when i installed it I hit the brakes and all of the dash lights and parking lights came on...can anyone answer this?

Why did you take dash out? What else did you do to car? Did it have this problem before? A bad brake light bulb can do this. The element inside the bulb breaks and lands on the other element so when you energize brake circuit OR park light circuit the other also gets power. Happens alot on 1157 bulbs

sounds like theres a bad ground inside the dash somewhere. check them first

well i took the dash out because i had mice infest my car a few winters ago and it was already cracked when i bought the car. it just randomly showed up for some reason

oh and also the annoying beep comes on like when the car is shut off and the lights get turned on

its supposed to do that. it alerts you that the lights are on and draining the battery. check around where you had it off an look for chewed wires
